Hello Families!
My name is Christopher Calderon: a husband, a dad of two wonderful kids who are homeschooled, and a Credentialed Education Specialist. Being part of a family that learns in its own way has made it especially meaningful to me that every person’s strengths, needs, and goals are understood on their own terms.
My path into this work began as an Independent Living Skills educator and continued through my work with the Regional Center. I saw how much families were being asked to figure out: services, plans, assessments, and important decisions that affect the people they love. I also saw that families needed more than information. They needed someone who would listen closely, help them understand their options, and stand beside them as they spoke up for the support their family member needed.
That is why I created Calderon Pathways. I bring my education background and experience supporting people with disabilities to work alongside families, not to take over, but to help make a complicated process clearer and more manageable. Together, we can identify strengths and needs, explore meaningful options, prepare for important conversations, and build a plan around the person and the life they want.
Families deserve a partner who takes their concerns seriously, explains things in plain language, follows through, and keeps the individual’s voice at the center. That is the kind of support I work to provide. My commitment to the disability community is deeply personal, and I’m proud to serve families across California.
If you chose to partner with me, you are getting true individualized support where my sole focus is giving your family true peace in knowing that everything that can be done is being done. I have a voice and it speaks for you.
